The Exchange is a community-led arts & crafts organisation that uses the heritage of our home, Erith’s Grade II listed Old Library, to inspire new programmes and activities that bring people together and demonstrate the power of community craft and action.
tex. is the name of our collection, an assortment of beautiful yet practical objects that are created in our workshops.
Everything we make is produced by the volunteer tex-craft makers for community use - in our building and beyond, or for sale for community benefit. Proceeds from all sales and commissions are reinvested into providing high quality, free to access craft skills for all.
