product story
The image was originally created by Mexican lithographer and illustrator José Guadalupe Posada and reproduced here as part of a series of events that celebrated Mexican culture and heritage, organised by local resident Sandra Hall, as part of The Exchange’s “Culture Days” programme that aims to celebrate and share the cultural richness of our locality.
about tex
tex is a unique range of products and the result of creative collaborations between professional designer-makers and local Community Makers at The Exchange. Through their partnership, they enable increased and affordable access to craft skills learning, that in turn supports the maintenance of a listed building and wider community and social development. All products are hand-made, and so there may be slight variations from the product image, some evidence of the makers.
