These cushions were made by Textile Maker Kathy Hampson after sharing the skill with other textile makers at The Exchange and within the wider community. The fabrics used are from Tanzania and were donated by another local resident for use in the textile workshop. Manx quilting is a tradition from the Isle of Man; it involves hand stitching and using your hands to measure out the strips of fabric. A lot of love and care goes into each creation.
