original design by Exchange Co-Director Sarah Batten, inspired by paper craft and images of elephants walking down Erith’s High Street in 1903 when the circus came to town. These single motif designs were produced also as a colour study for the Design/Draw group at The Exchange, showing different variations of the same image in three colours.
