Weathervane - Screen Print

Screen print of the weathervane that sits on the roof of Erith’s Old Library. It is in the shape of the Great Harry – King Henry VIII’s flagship – that was fitted out in Erith. The position of the Tudor shipyard in Erith had a massive influence of the town, shifting its centre to where the town sits today.

This print is part of a series produced by Graham Nutley, a member of The Arthouse in Wakefield (another old Carnegie Library turned creative space), and the father of Exchange Co-Director Peter. These prints were produced in Yorkshire to raise money for Erith’s Old Library.
